Four European countries will be involved in realization of the activities:
Since the beginning the project will be supported by a network of institutions and associations from other European (and non-European) countries, which will help to realize all the activities, providing information and materials for the Virtual Museum, the cd-rom, the publication, and the creation of a transnational network on the history of European popular culture (through the website, and the newsletter):
- Les Amis du Roman d’Aventures (Paris, France)
- KUL Leuven – Instituut voor Culturele Studies (Leuven, Belgium)
- Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (Munich, Germany)
- University of Glasgow (Scotland)
- Universitat des Saarlandes (Sassbrüken, Germany)
- Teluq L’Université à Distance de l’Uquam - University of Quebec (Montrea, Canada),
- Belphegor - Electronic Journal devoted to Popular Literature and Media Studies (Nova Scotia)
- Associazione Hamelin (Bologna, Italy)
All European countries will benefit from the activities planned for EPOP Project, through the website, the Virtual Museum, the publication, the transnational network on the history of European popular culture. The realization of these activities and the production of the outputs will need the creation of new connections with institutions working in countries not directly involved in the trans-national scientific team, in order to enlarge the network supporting the project.
